Sally's Cat House
Chester is the bravest boy I know and his courage inspires me still.  Though never accepted by my other males after his miraculous recovery, and unable to defend himself against their relentless attacks, Chester now lives in seclusion in the rooms of my two daughters with his calico companion Callie (below) and couldn’t be more content.  We recently added a private access ramp from my daughters’ rooms to the cat house below, and Chester and Callie now have the best of both worlds!

Chester and Callie claim the room in the far side of the enclosure below.
In fact, the accommodations continue with a private trap door so that their world is further expanded to the large area beneath the deck that is perfect for stalking bugs and other crawly things.  The underdeck area is even larger than the cat house area, so there's plenty of exploring for everyone!
And this is Callie, our beautiful dilute calico and yet another story in courage.  Adopted from the Humane Society to be a companion to my boyfriend’s male tuxedo cat Nicky (who I also adopted), Callie and Nicky got along famously at the outset.
Their compatibility was short-lived however, when after a year of bonding Nicky suddenly had a change of heart and decided Callie was more fun to torment than to groom.  Sadly, the once trusting and open Callie was quickly replaced by a cat who was now afraid of everyone and everything.
